Latin America

The firm’s Latin America practice is both inbound, assisting U.S. and other non-Latin clients to pursue their objectives in various Latin markets, and outbound, assisting Latin clients to exploit opportunities in the U.S. and elsewhere.  The firm has important ties and a good understanding of the local legal and business practices prevailing in virtually every Latin American country. 

The Latin America practice is led by Juan Pablo Rodriguez, a Venezuelan lawyer fluent in both Spanish and English.  Mr. Rodriguez has carefully nurtured relationships in government and the business community throughout the region, and substantial experience in the legal, business and regulatory environments of these countries.  This intimate knowledge of the region enables our inbound clients to proceed confidently with significant investments, transactions and dispute resolution, and it is the platform for the careful representation of outbound clients. We have also developed close relationships with carefully chosen local counsel.
